I remember as a kid being fascinated by miniature cities and towns created for toy trains. I still am mesmerized by miniature creations to this day so when I came across Brooklyn based artist Thomas Doyle my face lit up with glee.
Thomas creates little intricate worlds sculpted in 1:43 scale and smaller. A lot of his pieces are quite haunting and involve situations you wouldn't wanna be in but I could stare at these for hours...enjoy.

생일축하합니다
A bit off topic from the title but I was watching a video online that brought back some memories of a place located on Kenmare St. in ny called La Esquina.
La Esquina's a counter-service taqueria that serves tacos and tortas, and has a more extensive menu at a café just around the corner. When the sun goes down the downstairs bunker is filled with hipsters, socialites, and celebrities all condensed into one room. But forget being seen and feeling cool just because you're mingling with the who's who of nyc. Honestly, the food there is pretty damned good. So, next time you're in the area stop by and grab a bite. You won't regret it.
